Doctorate in Environmental Law

An environmental law PhD would involve the study and research of policies relating to topics such as climate change, land use, natural resources, and sustainable energy. This doctorate degree is geared towards individuals who have an interest in ensuring that the laws in place, and which are planned, are workable and do not detrimentally impact upon either the economy or the environment. To be eligible for this doctorate program, potential applicants must already have a background in a legal subject, and preferably one that has a focus on issues relating to the environment.
